Elderberry iced tea is a little different from other teas. I prepared it a little differently. Pour hot water over regular iced teas and let them infuse. I did not use any other teas. I used only fresh elderflowers, elderberry syrup, mint and lemons.
The tea smells beautifully of flowers, but at the same time it is fresh of lemons and mint... I believe you can't wait. So let's prepare it together!
Tips:
- are you expecting a visit? You don't have any drink, prepare this NON-ALCOHOLIC drink, or if you need something ALCOHOLIC, add vodka and the drink is ready..
- Let the flowers infuse really long enough to make their taste more intense...
- Prepare enough ice to make the drink even more refreshing
- don't forget to decorate the drink, save some flowers, some mint and lemon and it will definitely look better... and your guests will immediately taste it, because eyes eat/drink too 🙂

- 500 ml hot water
- 6 flowers base
- 400 ml winter water
- 3 lemons

- elderberry syrup, to taste
Approach:
- Shake out the elderflowers a little, because there may be small animals in them. We put 1 flower aside for later. Pour hot water over the remaining flowers and let them infuse.
- Fill the carafe with ice, add the juice of 1 lemon. Cut the second lemon into slices. We will put the third one aside for later, for decoration. Add mint leaves.
- Strain the tea from the flowers through a sieve and add cold water.
- Pour the tea into a carafe, add elderberry syrup for an even more intense taste.
- Put ice cubes, mint, lemon slices in a glass and pour tea. Finally, decorate with an elderflower and serve!
- Bon appetite!
Comments:
- it is a recipe for about 800 ml of tea
- you don't need to add syrup if you don't want to
